Basement Gravel & Concrete Services
Basement Gravel – All basements need to have some type of fill put into them before the concrete is placed. Gravel is used underneath of the basement floor slab to provide a solid base for the concrete and also to provide a drainage layer underneath the slab. The thickness of the gravel underneath the slab depends on many different factors, but the common amount is roughly 8″ in depth.
